For some reason, Microsoft Internet Explorer does not work really well when used as a FTP client. Some of our clients do encounter a problem trying to ftp in with it. In cases like this, recommend our clients to use a downloadable standalone program, SmartFTP. Click here to download the program.

Once you have downloaded the program, we are ready to start….

1. First, click on File >> New Remote Browser to initiate a new FTP session.

2. Next, enter in your FTP login details and click OK.

3. Your source files will be in the public_html folder. Click on it and you will see your source file listings. Feel free to do the normal Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) operations to upload/download your source files from the website.

4. Alternatively, you can click on File >> New Local Browser and do your file upload/download from there, using the arrow buttons in the middle.
