I was just raving about some very cool javascript gallery effects yesterday… and was about to work on a Joomla component to showcase such things… when I realized that it was already done. The company was JoomlaWorks and wanted to charge 12 Euros for their Simple Image Gallery which was an amalgamation of 5 Litebox like effects. Hehe… it was only then that I realised that LiteBox had 5 clones:

Hmmm… this looks exactly the same as LiteBox. Cannot seem to see any difference between this and LiteBox physically. But of course, its advantage is simply in being slim. It claims to be a 4kb implementation of LiteBox… and it sure ran fast on their website.

This runs heavy… or maybe the pictures are just bigger? But it does have certain added features like Modal Dialogs…

I like this. It looks just like the orginal with an added Slide-Show feature. Neat.

Well, did not really like it if you ask me. Problem was… the image was forever loading. Also, did not really like the idea of GreyBox taking up the entire screen real estate.
